Universal Strict Exclusions (Applies to ALL plans)

To provide high-quality service and keep our memberships transparent, the following are strictly excluded from every tier:

  • Pre-existing faults prior to joining and passing the initial Health Check.
  • Access Policy: We perform visual inspections. We will NOT remove tiles, stone (e.g., marble/granite), boxing, or panels to access pipework under any circumstances. No tiling jobs are included.
  • Pipework & Leaks: Damage to internal property pipes or water leaks within the fabric of the building.
  • Underfloor Heating (UFH): Manifolds, pumps, and thermostats related to UFH systems.
  • Internal Cartridges: Replacement of cartridges inside the HIU, taps, or showers.

1. Getting Started & Terms

1. Is there a minimum contract term?

Yes. To provide this level of comprehensive cover, the Essential Care and Comfort Pro plans have a minimum term of 12 months. The Absolute Peace plan requires a 24-month minimum term. After the initial term, it rolls on a monthly basis.

2. When does my cover actually start?

Cover officially begins immediately after your initial Health Check is completed and your HIU system is approved by our engineers. We do not cover pre-existing faults.

3. Are your prices inclusive of VAT?

No. All stated membership prices are strictly exclusive of VAT, which will be added at the current standard rate upon billing.

4. How does the HIU Replacement Subsidy work?

If your HIU is deemed Beyond Economical Repair (BER), we help cover the cost. On Comfort Pro, you get a fixed £500 subsidy. On Absolute Peace, you get a voucher for 40% (approx £2,600) after 6 months, and up to a £3,000 cap after 24 months of continuous membership.

5. What happens if I miss a scheduled appointment?

If our engineer arrives and cannot gain access to the property (e.g., tenant is not home or keys do not work), a strict missed appointment fee of £120 + VAT will be charged.

6. Will you remove tiles or panels to fix a leak?

No. Our access policy is extremely strict. We perform visual inspections only. We will under no circumstances remove tiles, stone (like marble or granite), boxing, or panels to gain access to pipework.

7. Are underfloor heating (UFH) systems covered?

No. Manifolds, pumps, and thermostats related to Underfloor Heating (UFH) are strictly excluded from all HIU subscription plans.
